From the intimate confines of the 180 seat Kanahele Showroom, Jody Baran, with Kathleen, Crystal, Katrina and the crew build on the history and myth of Hawaii to produce this production.

Although he’s acclaimed by his peers for his cutting edge routines and state of the art tricks, Jody Baran’s just a nice Polish boy from Chicago who just happens to find himself living the American Dream in Hawaii!

Jody started performing at 5, received his first award for magic at 10, and by 16,  jumped into a full time career in show business. He’s a world traveler (proof that magic can transport you) who’s had his own production company in L.A., worked with iconic companies like the Disney Company and Six Flags, entertained a who’s who of celebrities and heads of state, and created world-class illusions for numerous magicians and illusionists. Then, he fell for the magic of Kathleen Pomeroy.

It was love at first sight. And in a classic case of life imitating art, he found the girl of his dreams, with daughters of her own and together this group formed their magical family: The Baran Bunch!

Now, after over a decade together, the story telling visual magic of Jody Baran and his family brings audiences to their feet at the Kupanaha show, night after night; as they share their love for entertainment and each other, with the crowds who love them!

Kathleen started in show business as a dancer at the age of four. And she’s barely stopped moving since.

A Southern California native, she majored in theatre and dance at school, then honed her experiences at the prestigious “Fine Arts Dance Academy.” Along the way, she’s appeared in numerous productions before being enchanted into the world of magic at 16.

With Jody, she has impressed audiences and toured major cities and foreign countries with their brand of dazzling magic. Kathleen’s natural style, talent, grace, charisma, and captivating beauty make her the star of the Kupanaha show, supplying feminine beauty and sheer artistry to every performance.
